Join us as we leverage the power of our vision to make a big impact on Downtown Inverness. This is a great opportunity to take an active step to protect the environment and maintain the beauty of our “Small Town Done Right”.
We’ll meet at the Valerie Theater at 8:00 am to check in, pick up supplies, have some light refreshments, and hear instructions regarding the planned pick-up area limits and safety. Then everyone will head out on foot in small groups to pick up trash in designated areas of the Downtown.
You will be provided garbage bags, trash grabbers and gloves. Thanks to our partner, Keep Citrus County Beautiful for providing coordination and supplies for this event.
What to bring:
- Sun protection
- Closed toe shoes
- Clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
Optional items:
- Personal refillable water bottle (we will provide refills),
- Your favorite gloves
- Hand sanitizer or wipes
- Several friends and family members to make this an awesome event!
