On Thursday, May 8, former Citrus High School standout Shyanne Waller’s current collegiate team the Saint Leo Lions won 1-0 against the Mississippi Choctaws in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Mississippi Choctaws in the tournament.

The Saint Leo Lions’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 12 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium.
