City of Inverness issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.
The Inverness Farmers Market is moving to a bi-monthly schedule to host two farmers markets each month. The Inverness Farmers Market will take place the first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the third Thursday of the month market from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. The bi-monthly market will run throughout the year with exception to the months of June and July. The Inverness Famers Market first Saturday market will be held on February 1, 2020, and the next Saturday market will be March 7, 2020.
The market will take place in and along the open-air pavilion in the Depot District known as the Depot Pavilion. The markets will bring together 15-25 hand-picked vendors with fresh and artisanal products.
The City will host the previously scheduled market this Sunday, January 26, 2020, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but will not continue with a Sunday market schedule after this one occurrence.
