Park entry fee of $6 per vehicle up to 8 people; $4 single-occupant vehicle; $2 pedestrian or biker. Additional fort entry fee of $2.50 per person is payable at the Visitor Center.
DESCRIPTION
For 11 months in 1861, Confederate forces occupied Fort Clinch. During this time, no construction took place on the fort, but life went on.
Reenactors and first-person interpreters take you back into the day-to-day happenings at a Confederate fort in Florida. Learn how horseshoes are made, how water was filtered before drinking and why Confederate forces left without firing a shot.
