DESCRIPTION

Due to an upcoming project at Ravine Gardens, this workday has been moved to Dunns Creek State Park.

The Florida Park Service is looking for volunteers to join us in removing invasive plant species. Removing invasive plants keeps native plants healthy and thriving. No special experience or skills required.

All ages welcomed, including Scouts and youth groups. High-schoolers: This is a great way to earn community service hours! Dress for working outdoors, wear closed-toed shoes, and if you have them bring work gloves and a water bottle.

Registration is optional; please visit Eventbrite or contact 386-329-3721 for details.

Have a group that would like to volunteer on a different date? Email Monica.P.Jones@FloridaDEP.gov to find out how you can schedule a volunteer workday.
