CITY OF INVERNESS: Valerie Theatre to hold auditions

City of Inverness issued the following announcement.

The Valerie Theatre, 207 Courthouse Square, Inverness is planning a community production of Charles Dicken’s, “A Christmas Carol.” Auditions are available by appointment on October 12-14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  

Open roles for casting:

  • Narrator: Male approximately 60 years old.
  • Girl: eight – 10 years
  • Fred:  Male 30 - 40 years old.  (will double as Ghost of Christmas Past)
  • Scrooge:   50 - 60s years old.
  • First Man:  40 - 50s years old.  (will double as Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come)
  • Second Man:  40 - 50s years old. (will double as Ghost of Christmas Present)
  • Bob Cratchit:  Male 30 - 40s years old.
  • Marley:  Male 50 - 60 years old. (will double as Fezziwig)
  • Mrs. Cratchit:  Female 30 - 40 years old.
  • Martha:  Female approximately 20s years old.
  • Tiny Tim: Male eight - 10 years old. 
 To request an audition, contact the Director, Patrick Erhardt by email at patherhardt@gmail.com, and make sure to include your availability and the role(s) you are interested in auditioning for.

Casting decisions are finalized on October 16, 2020 along with a rehearsal schedule. The production is set for daily shows December 11-13, 2020 at the theater.
