City of Marco Island issued the following announcement.
The City of Marco Island staff is closely monitoring the developments of Tropical Depression Eta. Heavy rains and wind associated with Eta may begin to affect south Florida this weekend. Please be patient and wait for the water to drain before traversing city streets.

For law enforcement or code related issues that are non-emergency call 239-389-5050. If you need to report any issues concerning debris, traffic lights or storm drains, call 239-825-0571. For water or sewer issues, call 239-394-3168. In case of emergency call 9-1-1.
