The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Recreation and Parks, announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, December 15, 2020, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (ET) Presentation will begin shortly after 9:00 a.m.
MEETING LOCATION: This public workshop will be conducted virtually via media technology free for the public to use. Please register for Ichetucknee Springs State Park Public Meeting at: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6890436372704972302 After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: To advise various environmental, recreational user groups, and local government stakeholders on proposed changes to recreational uses on the upper Ichetucknee River within the boundaries of Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Presentation and discussion will focus on significant recovery of submerged aquatic vegetation and the Division of Recreation and Parks' management strategies to ensure further protection.
