City of Inverness recently issued the following announcement.

Road closures are scheduled to begin on November 29th to accommodate installation of site improvements at the former Regions Bank. This site is located at 809 W. Main St. in Inverness. All work within the roadways will occur within daylight hours with no overnight lane closures. Road closures will be phased to reduce impacts to traffic, please see timeline and specific details of roadway closures below.
Trout Avenue 11/29/2021-12/03/2021
Beginning Monday November 29th, the Southbound lane of Trout Avenue will be closed South of Tompkins. Cherry Avenue is identified as a detour for traffic connection to West Main Street (US 44). The Northbound lane of Trout Avenue will remain open during construction. The roadway will reopen for traffic on the evening of December 3rd.
