Santa Fe College recently issued the following announcement.

Santa Fe College Men's Basketball had little trouble with the visiting Central Georgia Tech Titans on Friday afternoon.

Although both teams entered the day receiving votes in the latest NJCAA poll, the Saints were the far superior team on the evening, prevailing 83-55 to hand the Titans their first loss of the season while improving to 5-0 inside the SF Gymnasium.

First Half – SF 49, CGTC 20

Bradley Douglas opened the game's scoring with a triple.

With the Saints leading 6-5 in the early going, SF went on a stunning run of 23 unanswered points to open up a 29-5 advantage at the half's midway point.

The Santa Fe defense was locked in, limiting the Titans to contested shots, while the offense was clicking on all cylinders.

Second Half – SF 83, CGTC 55

The Titans began to play much better at the start of the second half and started to show why they were unbeaten headed into the night.

SF, however, never let the guests any closer than 20 the rest of the way. The Titans were unable to contain the Saints' offense, which eclipsed 80 points for the seventh time this season.

The Saints' largest lead of the game was 34 in the final minutes of the impressive rout.
