County of Citrus recently issued the following announcement.
The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking applications for the Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board. This Advisory Board is seeking one Alternate member position, one District 1 regular member position, one District 4 regular member position, and one District 5 regular member position. All members participate in all discussions and debates of the board; the term is two years for all regular member positions; the one Alternate member position will be for a one-year term with the option to be reappointed.
The Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board is a voluntary board that meets the second Thursday of every month at 2:00pm at the Lecanto Government Building, Room #166, 3600 W Sovereign Path, Lecanto, FL. The mission of the Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board is to advise the Board of County Commissioners on all matters involving Citrus County public aviation facilities.
Applications are due by Friday, January 14, 2022, and can be accessed online at: www.citrusbocc.com/boardapplication.
