Citrus County Sheriff's Office recently issued the following announcement.

When disaster strikes, how do you react? Do you know how to take care of yourself, your family, and your neighborhood in the event of an emergency? 

If you have no idea how to begin preparing for a disaster or feel pretty comfortable with what to do, but would like to hone your skills and knowledge, this class is for you! 

Class: CERT Basic Training

CERT stands for Community Emergency Response Team. In this CERT class, you will learn about basic medical techniques, fire suppression, search & rescue strategies, and many more topics!

This course is Free of charge, and brought to you by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office! Classes are held on Saturdays in March. There is only one catch: you must enroll!
