DESCRIPTION

Join park staff on the first Sunday of every month for a tram tour of the longleaf pine forest.

Learn about the park's land management practices and how we care for our natural resources. Possible fauna seen during this program include white-tailed deer, gopher tortoise, Sherman's fox squirrel and wild turkey. Along the way, the tram will stop so participants can take a short guided walk on the Swamp Trail. A park ranger will lead visitors down the boardwalk to the Silver River. After the hike the tram will return to the main entrance.
