Santa Fe College is inviting rising ninth graders (eighth into ninth grade) in Alachua and Bradford counties to apply for the free 2022 Earth/Wind/Fire/Water STEM Summer Camp.
This science-oriented, fun-filled summer camp is designed to develop students’ joy of learning in a safe and nurturing environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to come and explore the world around them while having lots of fun and engaging in interactive learning projects. Activities include constructing solar models, building and launching rockets, creating 3D printing designs, solving crimes with the latest DNA technology and more.
Students will also explore the Santa Fe College Kika Silva Pla Planetarium, SF Teaching Zoo, Construction Institute and Health Sciences programs.
All applications are due by Friday, June 3, 2022. Students will be notified by email if they have been selected by Friday, June 10.
