Based on the current trajectory and intensity, sanitation operations will not initiate collection operations on Thursday Sept 29th. If the situation changes, an update will be made. Waste Management plans to complete all scheduled Wednesday Sept 28th collection schedules. Sanitation will resume collection operations on Friday Sept 30th. Waste Management will not operate when sustained wind speeds exceed 35 mph. Resuming “post storm” operations will depend on storm damage safety assessments and open disposal facilities. Extra residential collection capacity is being added before the storm in an effort to remove as much bulk/yard waste that is currently at curbside.
Commercial dumpster services will not run Thursday Sept 29th. Dumpster service will resume and begin recovery on Friday Sept 30.
*At this time, residents should refrain from placing additional yard waste or other bulky items at curbside.*
