UF/IFAS Extension Peanut Butter Challenge In Full Swing

The Peanut Butter Challenge is an annual jar collection for local food pantries, hosted by UF/IFAS Extension and Florida A&M University (FAMU) Cooperative Extension. Launched in the Florida Panhandle counties in 2012, the challenge is again “spreading” statewide this year.

Unopened, unexpired peanut butter jars of any size can be donated to the Citrus County Extension office (located at 3650 W Sovereign Path, #1, Lecanto) or the Citrus County Resource Center (2804 W Marc Knighton Ct, #6, Lecanto) through Monday, October 31, 2022.

For more information, contact the UF/IFAS Extension Citrus County office at (352) 527-5700.
