Red Ribbon Week – October 23-31
Please note – due to the large number of teachers and schools, the Anti-Drug Coalition contests begin October 19th.
The National Theme is “Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free”
Elementary Schools
- Dress-Up Days (School may determine what they want to do – Ideas attached)
- Door Decorating Contest for Teachers (Instructions from Anti-Drug Coalition)
- Outdoor Decorating Contest(For Safety Patrols, see contest guidelines)
- All Elementary students enrolled in Brick/Mortar will receive a Silicone Bracelet (that will be delivered mid-October to the school)
- Media Contest for 6th-8th Grade students (Open to Brick/Mortar and Virtual)
- Lunchtime Displays in Cafeteria with giveaways for students (TBD)
- Outdoor Decorating Contest(School Club, see contest guidelines)
- Visits (available at the principal’s request) by the Florida National Guard Counterdrug Task Force either via classroom, lunchroom display, or assembly (Night Vision Program)
- Essay Contest
- Lunchtime Displays in Cafeteria with giveaways for students (TBD)
