DIRECTIONS: Meet by the restrooms in the lower parking lot.
FEES: Program is free with paid park entry:
- $6 per vehicle (two to eight people).
- $4 single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle.
- $2 pedestrian or bicyclist.
DESCRIPTION: Join us for a ranger-led trek on the boardwalk along the spring run and learn about the history, wildlife, ecology and management of Blue Spring State Park.
Learn how Blue Spring achieves a balance between enjoyment and protection of fragile spring ecosystems. Tour is half-mile one way to the end of the handicap-accessible boardwalk.
- Water and restrooms are located at the start of tour and halfway down the boardwalk.
- Potential safety hazards include insects, animals, uneven ground and heat.
