Unity Starts in the Heart | City of Inverness
A 3 day event celebrating the life of Martin Luther King Jr. will be happening January 14-16.
Guest speaker and Pulitzer Prize winner Gilbert King and other local historians will be speaking at the Valerie Theatre on Saturday, January 14 starting at 4 p.m.
Sunday, January 15 at 4 p.m. there will be a Gospel Festival located at Solid Rock Church of God and it is a FREE event.
Monday, January 16 starting at 9 a.m. there will be the Annual Freedom Unity Walk and Presentation. The walk will start at the Valerie Theatre Plaza and walk to Liberty Park for presentation and festivities. Vendors will be at the Depot from 9am-2pm and there will be rotating stage talent from 11am-2pm.
