Seeking Applications For Citrus County Special Library District Advisory Board

The Citrus County Special Library District is seeking applications for four (4) positions on the Special Library District Advisory Board. This Advisory Board is seeking qualified members for two-year terms that will begin on February 1, 2023 and expire on January 31, 2025. Eligible applicants must be a qualified elector of Citrus County.

The Special Library District Advisory Board generally meets the fourth Tuesday of every other month at the Lecanto Government Building. The purpose of this Board is to advise the Board of County Commissioners on public libraries’ budget, policies, services, and other pertinent matters. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 8:00am.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, December 30, 2022. Applications can be found online at www.citrusbocc.com/boardapplication and should be submitted to: Denise Gallagher, Citrus County Administration, 3600 W Sovereign Path, Suite 267, Lecanto, FL 34461. Nominations and appointments will occur at the Tuesday, January 24, 2023, meeting of the Special Library District Governing Board.
